Call Activity

A Call Activity enables you to reference a predefined process in another diagram multiple times and maximize reusability within the model.

One advantage of using a Call Activity is that any change made to the referenced process is automatically propagated to all the diagrams that invoke them.

A Call Activity appears as a rectangle with a thick border.

Call Activity attributes

Define this attribute in the Called Element tab:

• Called Element

  The process that is called by the Call Activity.

  To define the process:

  • Select the process in the list, then click Set as Called Element.
