Text Annotation

A Text Annotation enables you to provide additional information to the reader of a DMN diagram.

Text Annotation attributes

Fill in these fields in the Attributes tab:

• Text

  The text you want to communicate.

• Description

  A description of the element.

  Descriptions are optional but they can be useful if you want a comprehensive report.

• Label

  An short, alternative description of the element.

  Use it primarily for elements that don’t have a name attribute, for example and Input Expression.

• Shape - Bounds

  The size of an element and its co-ordinates in the diagram.

  Field	Description
  X	The horizontal position of the element in the diagram.
  Y	The vertical position of the element in the diagram.
  Width	The width of the element.
  Height	The height of the element.
