Text Annotation

The Text Annotation artifact enables you to provide additional information about the elements in a diagram.

You can connect a Text Annotation to an element using an Association without affecting the process flow.

Text Annotation attributes

Fill in these fields in the Attributes tab:

• Text

  An annotation that provides additional information to an element or entire diagram.

• Description

  A description of the element.

  Descriptions are optional but they can be useful if you want a comprehensive report.

• Text Format

  Default value: text/plain.

  Format text using the tools in the Style panel.

• X and Y

  The position of the element in the diagram.

  Use to manually adjust the element’s position.

• Width and Height

  The width and height of the element.

  Use to manually adjust the element’s width and height.
