Welcome to our past releases archive. Discover what’s new and revisit key updates by exploring our detailed release notes.
We’ve replaced the Trigger parameter with two separate parameters — Inter trigger timer and Trigger count — to align with Business Process Simulation (BPSim) specifications.
This change offers you more fine-grained control over triggering behavior, enabling you to create more realistic and customizable scenarios.
Previously, the Trigger parameter controlled both the interval and the number of triggers. Now, you can configure these parameters separately. Use Inter trigger timer to set the intervals between triggers and use Trigger count to determine the maximum number of times to trigger an event.
As promised, we’ve added unit costs to our cost tracking feature to give you even more granular control over your process costs.
With both fixed and unit costs now supported, you can estimate budgets with greater precision, ensuring better financial planning and control.
Our new mini-map feature helps you to easily navigate complex diagrams with a bird’s-eye view of your process. Quickly zoom in on specific areas or pan across the entire canvas to get faster access to specific process elements.
We’ve improved the heatmap to give you a clearer, more complete picture of your data. Now, you can see all the output results for the element you select.
Our new cost tracking feature helps you gain a clearer picture of cost consumption throughout your processes. Analyze costs associated with individual tasks, estimate budgets with greater accuracy and optimize resource allocation.
In this release you’ll be able to incorporate fixed costs into your process. We’re working on adding unit costs soon, so you’ll have even more granular control over your process costs.
Try it now. Take control of process costs and get valuable insights for cost optimization.
We’ve revamped the header to make room for what’s important and hopefully improve your experience.
We’ve moved the tab menu to the left of the header to provide easier access to different pages and put the focus on the project name.
We’ve introduced user avatars in the header, making it easier to see who’s part of the project at a glance.
The heatmap now activates a popup whenever you click an element in the process showing the value of the parameter you selected.
We’ve added time parameters and calendars to Cardanit Simulation.
You can now set time parameters for all tasks, allowing you to estimate the ideal lead time for your processes by defining durations with fixed values or probability distributions. Stay tuned for resource parameters in future updates to account for queues and waiting times.
The new calendars feature enables you to schedule simulations for any parameter depending on the time of day or day of the week. Start your process every 5 minutes during work hours and switch to every 30 minutes for nights and weekends, or whatever schedule fits your needs.
We’ve also improved the Simulation results section to provide you with more meaningful insights:
Error and warning logs: identify potential issues with simulation setup.
Interactive results table: sort and filter results. Download output data: export results in CSV format.
Heatmap: gain understanding of workflow performance.
Starting today, you can gain deeper insights into your processes with our new Process Simulation capabilities.
This first release focuses on flow simulation, enabling you to set the frequency of start events and define the probabilities at exclusive gateways to identify bottlenecks.
In future releases we’ll roll out time and cost simulation and resource modeling to complete the digital twin of your process.
Simulation is a preview feature. It’s free to all Cardanit users while we work new functionalities. When it’s complete, it will become a paid feature.
To make room for Process Simulation, we’ve updated the header and made a few other changes. Here’s what you can expect:
